Maps is the alternative electronic creation of Northampton, UK’s James Chapman. “We Can Create” is Chapman’s first full length release and is completely full of meaningful combinations of rhythm, voice, and blessed keyboard technology. Each song has its own way of earning your interest and its own profound way of digging deep in the center of your consciousness. With a CD as masterfully crafted as this one it's hard not to let the whole production completely consume you. This isn’t background music, it commands attention. The music on “We Can Create” is the kind that makes it hard to imagine someone actually being able to produce such amazing noise, it seems like it should have existed forever.

The Clientele – God Save The Clientele

The Clientele are a London-based indie-pop-british-rock band. “God Save The Clientele” is the band’s third full length release. The album slowly and melodically unfolds into a very interesting collage of optimistic noise. Some songs seem to drag out the production for no apparent reason, while others make up for them by giving the listener a welcomed fast paced and upbeat style that shows what this band is really able to do.

Explosions In The Sky – All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone

Explosions In The Sky is a post-rock, instrumental band originating in Texas. They primarily play with three guitars (on occasion one of them being a bass) and a set of drums. “All Of A Sudden I Miss Everyone” provides the same long-winded tracks the band is naturally known for but it also portrays their style in a way that a new listener would have no problem being interested in. The usual ambient melodies are neighbored by overdriven guitar that proves to be extremely refreshing and expressive. These guys are amazing musicians and this CD clearly shows that. It’s as if the protective slow-paced melodic bubble they've been playing in finally exploded, revealing the true genius rock artists behind all the madness.
