Spoon – Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga

Spoon is an indie rock band headed by Britt Daniel from Austin, Texas. “Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga” is Spoon’s sixth full length release and the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2005 release “Gimmie Fiction”. With this release Spoon satisfies and exceeds the expectations they have been building for themselves with a steady abundance of amazingly original music. A few tracks allow easy transitioning from the obsession of “Gimmie Fiction” while the others give a multi-instrumental new twist to Daniel’s songwriting while still staying so true to the very likeable Spoon style. This CD is simply another large leap forward for one of the best artists of our time.

Interpol – Our Love To Admire

Interpol is a New York-based indie rock band, formed in 1998. Not much needs to be said about Interpol’s third full length release “Our Love To Admire”. Those who love the band will understand that this is just another welcome addition to the young but very influential band’s discography. These new songs don’t bring very much change, but no change is really needed for one of the most vocally and instrumentally original bands to enter the music scene in quite some time. Interpol is what it is, if you love them you love them, and you’ll also love “Our Love To Admire”.

Justice – Cross

Justice is a French electro house duo. These guys have managed to make a considerable amount of noise being that “Cross” is their first full length release and their previous success was riding on the release of one EP and a few remixes. “Cross” is a slight letdown due to the fact that not all the songs mix well enough with each other to make a smooth listening experience but the songs that do stick out are way too awesome to overlook.
