Kiss Kiss

Kiss Kiss is a band that emerged from New York state college and was formed by Joshua Benash(Guitar, Synth, and vocals) and Jared Karns(drums). The name Kiss Kiss is taken from series of short stories by Roald Dahl. Their music features an electric violin that adds an orchestral vibe to the indie-rock music, and comes out in somewhat of a twisted and eerie way. Kiss Kiss has an amazing way of making their music sound frantic, chaotic, haunting, but also incredibly melodic all at the same time. There is a lot of depth to the music they have created especially with their first full length release “Reality vs. The Optimist”. Kiss Kiss will most likely pull you in through curiosity for their rather harsh and extremely noticeable originality but will keep you interested through the complexity and beauty that exists in all the music they create.

Psapp

Psapp (pronounced sap) is a calm experimental electronica band formed of members Carim Clasmann and Galia Durant, and is sometimes credited with inventing a musical style known as toytronica, a form of electronica made with toys and toy instruments. Psapp is very innovative and I think they can most likely win the respect of any conscious music listener. I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for two-piece bands and Psapp has not let my love down, this music is worthwhile.

The Earlies

The Earlies are an interesting instrumentally electronic band from the UK. They have a very refreshing style and create songs that are impressive in the way they build on one another, although sometimes it may seem repetitive. The Earlies are the kind of band that may require patience at first listen but eventually sounds just as it should. There’s nothing wrong with they way these guys are making music.

Goose

Goose is an electro-dance band from Belgium. Goose creates music that is attitude and dance driven, and they manage to pull it off without being wussy. Their music is loud and striking enough to be noticed but not to the point of annoyance. Goose is melodically powerful electronic music, and that’s just hard to come by.
