VHS Or Beta is an electronic dance-rock band from Louisville, Kentucky. "Bring On The Comets" is their second full length release and in addition to their usual french house-type sound they have added much more elements of rock and some 80's influence. Each song is incredible with its own catchy guitar riffs and lyrics. Few bands have the ability to create very danceable music while still holding on to a very solid rock and roll sound, but "Bring On The Comets" captures the very essence of dance and rock music in a most satisfying fashion.

Goodbooks is a mildly electric indie-pop-rock band from Kent, England. "Control" is the band's debut release and is the perfect mixture of fast, mellow, happy, sad, fun, mad, and especially catchy music. This is probably the most promising debut release this year because of its wonderful originality, but this band still fits in nicely with the current music scene.

The Honorary Title is a indie rock band from Brooklyn, New York. "Scream And LIght Up The Sky" is their second album and is much more fast-paced and upbeat than their previous release "Anything Else But The Truth". The CD still has its times of sadness and self pity but with an addition of happier, even dancey at times, rock music. These guys have got some class, and their songs are even classier, which is a good thing.
