Phoenix

Phoenix is a French pop band that performs songs in the English. The band formed in 1999 in the semi-affluent Parisian suburb of Versailles, in the same culture that produced late-90s phenomena such as Air and Daft Punk. Phoenix started as the backing band for a remix of Air's "Kelly Watch the Stars" single. They began playing music with an electro-pop feel to it but now focus more on songwriting and sound more like a full band, especially with latest release “It’s Never Been Like That".
